Gene Hackman
1930 - 2025
There's still a lot of unanswered questions about the death of Gene Hackman, his wife Betsy Arakawa, and one of the couple's three dogs. The two time Oscar winner was 95 years old. I'm not overly familiar with his work, but I remember him for his roles in The Poseidon Adventure, Young Frankenstein, Unforgiven, and the Superman films.

The proto-punk singer, songwriter and actor who fronted the New York Dolls and went on to have a successful solo career, both under his own name and by his alias Buster Poindexter, passed away on Friday. He had been battling a brain tumor and stage four cancer for several years. I'll always remember him best for his role as The Ghost Of Christmas Past in one of my favorite Christmas movies of all time, Scrooged. Niagara Falls, Frankie Angel...
