This was one of the first things that I saw on our visit to the Slatington Marketplace last weekend.
I'm not sure what year this slot machine was produced, but it cost a nickel to play. I believe that the payouts shown here were the number of nickels you would win if you hit one of these combinations.
One of the things that stood out to me about this machine is that each of the fruits on the spinning reel has a few words that come together to form a message when read from left to right. Each time you played, you would get one of these fortune-like messages, such as "You'll lose your job through a poor orphan who will bring you good luck" or "You will soon meet a Greek dish-washer with a harelip".
