Like the movie that came before it, the third movie of the original Indiana Jones trilogy premiered on Memorial Day weekend. Indiana Jones & The Last Crusade turns 35 years old today.
There were three movies that dominated pop culture throughout the summer of 1989: Batman, Ghostbusters II, and Indiana Jones & The Last Crusade. If you asked the nine year old me which one was my favorite back then, you probably would have gotten a different answer each time. Looking back them as an adult, The Last Crusade is not only my favorite from the Summer 1989 blockbusters, but it's my favorite out of all of the Indiana Jones movies.
