Grimace's Birthday Meal

For the past month and a half (give or take a few days), I've stuck to a diet of only eating meat three days a week: Monday, Wednesday and Saturday. The plan is to eventually transition to a meat-free diet, but I'm not quite there yet, and since my first "meat day" of the week happened to coincide with Grimace's birthday celebration, I couldn't resist stopping at McDonald's on my way home from work.
Grimace's Birthday Meal is made up of either Chicken McNuggets or a Big Mac sandwich along with french fries, and the star of the show, a purple Grimace Shake.
Grimace's Shake was pretty tasty! I thought it was grape flavored at first, but then I realized that it was just my mind seeing purple and associating it with grape. When I focused a little more on the flavor, it tasted sort of like a vanilla raspberry birthday cake.
I'm not sure how long it's going to be available, but if you like milkshakes, it's definitely worth trying. You wouldn't want to make Grimace cry by not celebrating his birthday, would you?
