Raw Power
Iggy & The Stooges (1973)
The record that both Johnny Marr and Kurt Cobain listed as their favorite album of all time is turning 50 years old today. The third album from The Stooges was decades ahead of its time. I heard a few songs off of Raw Power for the first time around 1994 and I thought it was a new record from an unsigned band. It's a half century old today and I still don't think the world has caught up to it.
