Six years ago, I got to see the Philadelphia Eagles win their first Super Bowl in franchise history on the big screen at the Cinema And Drafthouse.
I was tempted to head down to see Eagles do it again on the same screen for Super Bowl LVII, but I'm feeling pretty lazy today so I'll be enjoying the big game with a big ol' cheesesteak at home in my pajamas.
UPDATE: Well, that's one way to end it I guess. I'm not a football guy, but it sure looked like that holding call at the end of the fourth quarter was bullshit, and running out the clock is a pretty cheap way to win what was an otherwise excellent game. The way this thing ended is the best argument I can give for why I am a baseball fan, and why all other sports are an afterthought. You've got to get 27 outs in baseball. You can't go up by 3 runs in the bottom of the ninth and screw around until the time runs out... you've got to record three more outs.
Ok, enough of this football stuff. Pitchers and catchers report on Thursday and the Mahoning opens in 74 days.
