MoosylvaniaWhere the wind is oozing down in painCause the swampy peat beneath your feetIs a sloshy soggy natural drainMoosylvaniaIn the night my frantic hand and IClutch toward a hawk'sLast gurgling squawksHalf submerged and just about to dieYou know you belong to the landWhen you're buried alive in the sandAnd when they sayLook, his face is getting grayWe'll know it's true causeYou're mostly slimeMoosylvaniaLet's prayHow are things in MoosylvaniaDoes that fetid swamp still fester there?Does it still give off the pungent smellOf muscatel and sweaty grizzly bear? How are things in Moosylvania? Are the tse-tse flies still swarming there?Do they still buzz and raze a townLike Smelly Bear, Ben Casey, or Kildare? So I'll ask each Venus FlytrapThat I meet along the wayAnd each lad that comes a'whistling oy, oy vayHow are things in Moosylvania this fine day?
