Video games were still a new phenomenon forty years ago when this issue of Time Magazine hit newsstands. The cover story, Games People Play by John Skow, is a fascinating look back to the way that the mainstream media viewed arcades just over a year after Pac Man was first introduced to gamers in the Untied States.
