It's been a fairly common thing to see old CRT televisions sitting on the side of the road for the past decade or so. Televisions today have more features and are less expensive than they've ever been, even if you don't consider inflation, so most folks don't seem to have a need for sets like these. I have a hunch that these are the sort of things that will sell for a fortune in antique stores 20 years from now.
