The only prototype of the Nintendo Playstation known to exist was sold for $360,000 to entrepreneur Greg McLemore. Greg, who is best known as the founder of Toys.com and Pets.com, has amassed a collection of over 800 rare arcade machines, home consoles and other historical gaming artifacts. He has worked with The International Arcade Museum for nearly 20 years, and he stated that his goal is to build a permanent museum to display and share his collection with the world. I couldn't think of a better home for this incredible piece of gaming history.
