Fifty years ago today at 5:07 pm, Richie Havens took the stage and played the first notes at what would become the most iconic gathering in the history of music.
Starting at 5:07 pm today, Philadelphia's WXPN Radio will broadcast the reconstructed audio archive of the concert. Every moment of audio recording that exists today - the concerts, the announcements, everything - will be shared in as close to real-time as possible.
