The Taming Of The Brew

This is a pretty cool annual event. There are dozens of tables set up with samples of local food and beer. You can eat and drink as much as you want (within reason, and while supplies last) for the cost of admission. All of the proceeds go toward the Bloomsburg Theatre Ensemble.
I ate way too much delicious food to remember who made what, but my favorites drinks this year were:
- Merry Monks by Weyerbacher: a Belgian-style Tripel with notes of spice, banana and pear.
- Get Pickled by Doc G's: a cucumber Kölsch-style ale brewed with cantaloupes.
- Pack Dog Peanut Butter Ale by Marley's: a traditional English ale brewed with roasted peanuts.
