Transfiguration Church Picnic

When I was a kid, my grandparents, my dad and I took a walk over to my grandmother's annual church picnic every July. Back then, my favorite part were the children's games. These days, I mostly look forward to all of the good food.
I may not be a religious man, but there's nothing quite like relaxing in the ally of the church where you were baptized listening to live polka music and eating homemade pierogies and potato cakes.
